As everyone eagerly awaits his new show, Dominic Paquet returns to the stage with Laisse-moi partir, his fourth one-man show, where he goes all out! A unique performer, Dominic brings his vivid imagination to life, creating a variety of universes and characters through his expressions, gestures, and voices. Whether it’s a historical event, a quirky behavior, a news story, or an everyday situation, everything becomes both extraordinary and hilarious through his eyes.

Now in its 19th season on CBC Radio One, The Debaters is the hit show where comics go toe-to-toe in a battle of laughs and logic. Hosted by Steve Patterson, international headliner and two-time winner of Canada’s Best Male Stand-Up, The Debaters is a combustible mix of sharply crafted comedic rants and hilarious ad-libs.

The engaging format is part stand-up, part quiz show and part comedy competition with the live audience picking the winners. Each show will feature three unique debates.

While incorporating arrangements of traditional Taiko pieces into their performance, TOKARA has created an all-new style of Taiko, where electrifying speed and power meet the group’s own arrangements of movement, incorporating dance and the circular fluidity of the Chinese martial arts and aikido.

In an age where algorithms predict our every preference, WE WILL ROCK YOU is a musical for our time: a fist-pumping, foot-stomping anthem to individuality.

Main Stage Showdown takes place Saturday, June 7 at 6pm at the Elks Lodge #314 in Yellowknife. This year's event will feature local talent from across Canada, one of which will take home a $500 cash prize, artist passes for the festival weekend and a slot on the Lawson Lundell Main Stage during Folk On The Rocks 2025.
