NWT Arts Program Declaration

I give permission to the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment (ITI) to use my contact information and images or other media advertising materials I have provided above, in whole or in part, for the sole purpose of marketing and promoting me as an NWT artist and the NWT art industry as a whole, in any manner, including printed and electronic formats. I understand that ITI will acknowledge my work when it is used in promotional materials. I understand ITI will not use the material I have submitted or provide it to any third party (someone outside the GNWT) for any other purpose without my permission.

I understand the GNWT, its employees and agents cannot be held responsible if a third party uses an image or information of mine obtained from the website or other marketing and promotional materials without authorization. I will not hold the GNWT, its employees, agents and assigns, responsible for any claims, demands, actions and costs arising out of any unauthorized third party use of information or materials.

I have read and understand the GNWT Registered Trade-mark Terms and Conditions of Use (contained within the NWT Arts Logo Use Guidelines). I will only use the NWT Arts Logo and NWT Arts Program promotional items on artwork created by me and only so long as I am an artist registered with the NWT Arts Program. I confirm that I am the copyright owner of all my artwork, original works and illustrations.

When I interact with other registered artists or organizations on the private forum of the NWT Arts website, I will do so in a professional manner. If NWT Arts deems my interactions as unprofessional in any manner, it has the right and final say to revoke my login privileges. I agree to receiving emails, such as newsletters, artist calls, and other arts related notifications, from the NWT Arts Program.

I understand there is no fee associated with me being registered with the NWT Arts Program. I confirm that I am over the age of 16 years.

I confirm the above statements to be true and complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.

Profile Privacy

A profile includes information about registered artists and their artwork.

  • Artists with PUBLIC profiles will be seen by the general public on the website. This is how customers see your work and find out how to contact you.
  • Artists with PRIVATE profiles will be seen by NWT Arts only. The general public can’t see private profiles.
