When Alice was young, her mother taught her how to make traditional clothing. She learned how to sew and do beadwork from her mother. From that time on, Alice developed a deep love for creating clothing for herself and her family. Her work included items such as vests, mittens, slippers, mukluks, and jackets, all made from moosehide.

Alice took tremendous pride in her work and was always willing to share her creations with others. Her craftsmanship reflected her skill, dedication, and strong connection to her culture, and her work continues to be remembered and appreciated.
