Hailing from Hay River, Northwest Territories, 5/3 Mad is a dynamic northern band known for their high-energy performances and crowd-pleasing sound. Blending rock, country, and classic favourites, the group delivers a lively mix of music that keeps audiences singing along and dancing wherever they play.
The band is made up of talented northern musicians who share a passion for live music and community gatherings. Duane Mackie drives the beat on drums, while Jessica Latour (bass) and Bailey Mackie (electric guitar) bring strong lead vocals that give the band its rich melodies and harmonies. Franco Nogarin lends vocals and rocks the electric guitar. Finally, Dana Cross rounds out the sound with powerful lead guitar, as well as vocals.
