Juan Sebastian Bidegain Umpierrez is the founder of Snowy Prints, a Northern-based printing and apparel initiative dedicated to showcasing and supporting artists from the Northwest Territories. Based in Inuvik, Juan operates a local print shop that produces high-quality apparel and merchandise while ensuring artists receive direct commissions from every sale. Through Snowy Prints, he works closely with artists to respectfully translate their artwork into wearable and functional pieces, maintaining the integrity of each artist’s vision while expanding their reach to national and international audiences.

With several years of experience running a print and manufacturing business in the Arctic, Juan is committed to building local capacity, keeping production and profits in the North, and creating sustainable opportunities for artists and creatives. His work focuses on strengthening the Northern arts economy through collaboration, accessibility, and thoughtful use of technology.
