Artist Bio

Doodling has been my escape for many years. Only recently have I thought to share my creations.

I draw and paint because it relaxes me. It gives me the opportunity to think, to reflect, and yet, somehow, let go of everything at the same time. I am fortunate that I found this release, this ability to be alive in creativity without concern or worry. It's the only time I feel completely free and uninhibited. The end result is somewhat unimportant. For me, the ‘doing’ is what matters.

People always ask how I come up with the images. They want to know the ‘plan’ or ‘process’ I use. When I say I have none they seem confused but it's true. When I start, I have no plan, no conception, no idea, no process, no method. I just see the blank paper and I draw. It just comes to me and evolves as I draw. I get excited when I see a blank paper or wall.

So, I suppose my fear of sharing my creations is that I may start to worry about the end result and alter my processes. I never want to lose the feeling of freedom and peace that comes with drawing.
