Margrit first learned to knit when she was 5 years old from her aunt. Since then she has been able to broaden her knowledge in the arts by taking painting courses at the local museum always learning new ways to create art throughout her entire life. She finds the most inspiration in the weather and her granddaughters and enjoys making things using yarn, paints, fabrics, beads, and macrame cords. Margrit likes to create art in her home in her sewing room as it gives her a feeling of accomplishment. She finds the what is most unique about her art is that it is hers.
