My name is Ocean McLeod. Currents, By Ocean began when I started making fleece lined Granny Hanky Neck Warmers, it developed from there. 

My mom and Aka (Grandmother) taught me to sew when I was about six years old. I would sew little felt pieces together. As I got older, they taught me to embroider, and since then I have always had a craft project going. I later learned to make beaded earrings, parka covers, and parkas. I love learning to make new crafts. I like to challenge myself with new and exciting projects. I am passionate about traditional crafts and continuing our Indigenous practices.
