The NWT Arts Program, in partnership with La Guilde, is calling for Indigenous NWT artists making handmade fine art and fine craft to apply to have their work sold at La Guilde in Montreal, QC, from October 2026 to December 2026.
La Guilde is a charitable visual arts organization and gallery that has been supporting Canadian handmade art for more than 120 years. It specializes in contemporary craft, Inuit art, First Nations art, and fine craft, with a strong commitment to promoting Indigenous artists and the work of women artists.
- Chosen artists would submit 8–10 pieces of artwork for showcase and sale (on consignment).
- Chosen artists will receive 65% of their retail price for sold works.
- Artwork must be available for shipping in the first week of September 2026.
- Artwork will be packed, shipped, and insured at no cost to the artist.
- Unsold artwork will be returned in the same manner .
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be registered in the NWT Arts Program and currently reside in the NWT. To apply, please fill out this online application form by Sunday, July 26.
