The NWT Arts Program, in partnership with the NWT Chamber of Commerce, is putting out a call to NWT artists to apply for a table to sell their work at the 2026 NWT Handmade Holiday Market, which will be held Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 to 4:00 pm in Yellowknife at the Explorer Hotel and the Chateau Nova Hotel. This marketplace will bring together over 60 artists from across the NWT and connect them with buyers who have a passion for buying authentic NWT artwork – just in time for the upcoming holiday season!
This opportunity is open to all NWT artists of all disciplines – including visual, digital and literary artists (with a product to sell), and film, media and performing artists (with a product to sell or promote). This opportunity is also open to art businesses and arts organizations that promote or sell work created by NWT artists. Applicants must be registered in the NWT Arts Program and currently reside in the NWT.
Applications from outside Yellowknife are encouraged and will be prioritized for a spot. Regional ITI offices may accept applications to the Artist Travel and Touring Fund to help support your travel to this market opportunity. Contact your regional office for more information!
