Sarah Rosemary Lennie was born in Fort Resolution, Northwest Territories, and later lived in Tulita. She was an established crafts and fashion artist who dedicated over 40 years to creating her work. Art was deeply rooted in her family, with several relatives also practicing similar forms of traditional craftsmanship.

Her creativity came naturally, and she found great joy in her work. Through her dedication and talent, she developed a strong presence in her community, where her artwork could be viewed and shared.

Sarah’s work reflected her passion, her cultural connections, and her lifelong commitment to her craft. Her legacy continues through the many pieces she created and the artistic traditions she upheld.
