Artist Story
I have always loved art and craft; illustration, colour, cute things make me happy. I craft things that make me happy, in the hopes that they bring joy to others as well. My preference is to create functional pieces that serve a purpose; be it everyday dishware, or occasional-use display pieces. I enjoy making things in general, and in addition to ceramics, I sew, knit, crochet, and dabble in numerous other media.
Artist Bio
I took my first wheel thrown pottery class with the Yellowknife Guild of Arts and Crafts when I moved to town from Toronto in 2003. Since then, I have continued to find immense joy in creating functional, and sometimes quirky, ceramic pieces for everyday use.
