I started sewing when I was very young, and self taught from watching others while I was in Aklavik working in the early 1960's.  I continued to sew for my family when I married and moved to Fort McPherson.

I was a seamstress at the Fort McPherson Tent & Canvas for many years, since the 1970's sewing canvas tents, canvas tipi's, coveralls, bags, and sled wrappers.  I stay at home now in Fort McPherson, NT and I continue to sew parka's, mukluks, mitts, cover jackets, slippers,bags for my family and orders that are requested.

I enjoy sewing and creating traditional clothing, to keep our culture strong in with traditional sewing.
