The Heritage Centre has been 12 years in the making with a small group of volunteers who devote their time and efforts to realize the dream.  Starting with small steps like getting ownership of the land and building, and moving through feasibility studies to architectural drawings, interior design plans, and purchasing all the materials to rebuild the Heritage Centre, it has been an interesting journey.  What started as a renovation project has turned into a rebuild due to structural inadequacies. Once the structure is completed, we will be able to install the appliances in the lower level kitchen and install the office equipment in the upper level office area.  Our focus will then move to raising funds to purchase display and exhibit cases and gift shop.
