An Artist Run Centre Located in Fort Simpson, NWT

Beginning in June 2008 the Open Sky Creative Society (OSCS) in Fort Simpson will begin operating the first & only artist-run, year round professional public exhibition venue for contemporary art in the NWT (OSC Gallery).

The Aurora Arts Society is holding their 2nd annual TrashFormation Competition and Exhibition in conjunction with ArtsWeek, September 19-28, 2008. Works will be displayed at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, and prizes will be awarded based on the creative use of recycled or trash materials. First prize is tickets from First Air.
