We will be celebrating 50 years of Cape Dorset prints by featuring prints from past collections. We will have prints for sale dating back to the early 1960s right up to last year's collection. This show will include works by artists including Kenojuak Ashevak, Mayoreak Ashoona, Pudlo Pudlat, Kananginak Pootoogook and several others.

applications from qualified artists. Following in the esteemed
tradition of the war artists, the Canadian Forces Artists Program is
designed to portray today's Canadian military experience through art
while providing artists with a taste of military life. Deadline for

Due to the construction at Civic Plaza, finding a venue to erect our art tent in support of Yellowknife's 75th Anniversary Celebrations has been a huge challenge.

Our tent will now be set up on June 23 and open for artists and user groups from Wed June 24 to Tues June 30.

For the weekend of June 27/28, our tent will be on the grassed lawn behind city hall. The art market will run as scheduled between 10 am to 6 pm.

The good news is the area is accessible to downtown traffic, easy to advertise, space will be offered free...read more
