Come celebrate the Yellowknife Book Cellar’s 40th Christmas with Richard Van Camp and friends!

We all know that books make the best presents, and you can make the gift of reading extra special this year by getting a book signed by the author for that special someone!

Richard has been busy writing and he has many new published works to share, including:

● "May We Have Enough to Share”, a new baby book perfect for a little one’s stocking
● "Little You", a board book for families, published in English, Cree, Dene, South Slavey, French and Spanish
● "This Place: 150 Years Retold", a story in this beautiful graphic novel, illustrated artist Scott Henderson
● "The Journey Forward: When We Play Our Drums, They Sing!", a shared YA novella with Monque Grey Smith’s “Lucy and Lola”, now in its 5th printing and winner of the 2018 NorthWords prize
● “Taaqtumi: An Anthology of Arctic Horror Stories”, including a new story that will thrill lovers of horror and suspense
● “Bawaajigan: Stories of Power: The Exile Book of Anthology Series”, with a new short story as part of this incredible collection

Other guest authors will be lining the halls of the YK Centre Mall to meet and greet you and sign your holiday treasures. The full lineup of authors coming soon!

You are also invited to add the title of a favourite story of book to add to their “story tree.” The friendly Book Cellar staff will have Christmas goodies on hand and recommendations to share.

Remember to shop local this holiday season, and we hope to see you there!
