Munya Mataruse has become a well know Yellowknife based musician, originally from Zimbabwe, who has captured audiences with his upbeat Afro-fusion style and with his now famous Mbira!

Munya is coming to NACC to share his story, music and inspiration. From studying under a Zimbabwean super stare, Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi, to North American touring to immigrating to Yellowknife, his story is one to leave you moved, energised and uplifted!
