This online course is targeted at advanced hobbyists and new professionals looking to improve their storytelling abilities for potential photo work. Creating a visual story takes planning and preparation and this 3 hour workshop will walk you through topics such as; finding the story and story pitching, shooting and editing the essay, and caption writing. (Please bring two/three digital samples of your work for the instructor to use as a group learning tool.)

Hannah Eden is a Yellowknife-based photographer and videographer, originally from England. After studying Photojournalism, she moved to the Yukon to work as a documentary storyteller. Her background also includes editorial work for Northern magazines as well as commercial photography for tourism agencies. Hannah was a finalist for Best New Photographer at the National Magazine Awards in 2016, after which she started her home-based photography business in Yellowknife.
