As a Dene/Inuk artist from Fort Simpson and Kugluktuk, I love to bead, sew, write, and create art using a mix of traditional materials with a contemporary twist. I grew up learning how to sew from my granny and continue to use her teachings, along with what I have learned from other Knowledge Keepers that I have had the pleasure to learn from. I enjoy creating new items that reflect my language and culture, a good cup of tea with a delicious bite of bannock, and hope you find some joy in the pieces I create.
