Lyla has been sewing most of her life and continues to do so to this day. She wants to continue her late mother's sewing techniques that were passed unto her as the only adopted daughter. Lyla sews mostly with moose hide, and says the smell of the moosehides makes her want to sew and to keep doing what she loves.  Admiring her finished product through colour and material brings the love of creating art so unique. Her dad (Modeste Pierre) is a wood worker & builder who has also inspired her to create.
