Writer and photographer Kyle Thomas grew up in Yellowknife Northwest Territories. His interest in writing began writing 2008 when he started his first blog. Blogging helped him discover his love for storytelling and he continues to write blogs on a variety of topics. 

Kyle is fascinated by the stories people have to tell and no matter where they come from, he is interested in listening. In 2013 he began work on his first book project titled Yellowknife Street Stories, a selection of his photographs and stories about the people who live on the streets of Yellowknife. The book will be released in April 2014.
