Artist Bio:
Jeanie was born In Cambridge bay, NU, and grew Gjoa Haven, NU, but now resides between Yellowknife and Dettah, NT.
She started creating art at the age of nine, helping her grandma, who had lost the ability to see, sew pieces of material together.
Jeanie enjoys sewing (slippers, mitts, jackets), embroidery, crocheting, and braiding traditional baby belts.
