As a proud Gwich'in artist born and raised in Inuvik, NT. I am a wife to Edward Kogiak and we have two handsome boys.

I've always loved sewing since I was young. My mother in-law has taught me the roots of sewing with embroidery, I started off with that and made my own pair of high top slippers and I was so proud of myself. 

I learnt myself how to bead.. I started off with delica beads and from there I always sewed with beads. My number one supporter is Brian Rogers, he has taught me a lot these past few years of sewing from start to finish. I respect the ways he has taught me, I have learnt how to put slippers,mukluks,vests & sewing covers all from Brian the most patient and awesome teacher.
