Jane Kelly was born and raised in Fort Good Hope, NT. She has been beading and sewing her whole life. She produces beautiful beaded moccasins made out of traditionally tanned moose-hide. Jane is inspired by her late mother, grandmother and friend Dora Gully. "I had to start tanning moosehide at a very young age. My grandmother was my teacher. She inspired me to do the best I could until my hide was all done." Jane says that she is most happy when the people that she has made products for are satisfied and happy with her work. It makes her vary proud.
