Vibrant, alive, joyful – these words describe emerging artist Cheryl Kaglik’s paintings. Progressing from giving her work to friends as gifts to seeing herself as a professional artist, Cheryl’s career continues to grow. In 2007, Cheryl was a participant in Parks Canada’s ‘Artists in the Park’ program, where she was inspired by her surroundings and tutored by her colleagues. Many of her recent works reflect this experience. Cheryl is mostly self-taught and as her technique evolves, so does her satisfaction with each piece. Currently most of her work is in acrylic or pastel.
