NWT Arts

I am a self taught drawing artist and carver in the Sahtu Region from Fort good hope . I am very grateful to have many Friends and family that have passed on their love and creation of art to me, by just showing me the beauty of what they have done themselves .Most of my inspiration derives from family members and friends  whom have passed. My traditional art is inspired by them, everything I draw or carve tells a story in its own way. this is a wonderful way to keep their memory alive and share our traditional art with others. I have never gone to any kind of art school to learn what I know now everything I do is from the heart you will see the love in each piece of art or carving I do. Every single artist is remembered by what they do as an artist when they Pass on in life, They are mostly remembered by the art they leave behind. this is the way I would love to be remembered by people all around the NWT in and out. This is my passion.
