Born in Ontario, but raised in Nova Scotia, the country life has always been in my blood.
I moved to the Northwest Territories in 2012 and fell in love with the vast wilderness.
I live in Enterprise and love the diversity of the wildlife and scenic views that are within my own backyard .
Painting and photography have always been a major part of who I am, and since moving here, it has become an even larger part of my life.
I love to photograph pretty much anything and at times will paint those images. I love water colors, acrylic and oils, but my renewed love for carving soapstone has been a new and exciting challenge .
Besides wildlife and landscapes, I also do studio photography work.
I have had a renewed interest in garment manufacturing... being trained in Montreal, I am now using those skills to work on traditional garments combining the Northern culture with Southern styles from my Ojibwa heritage.
