Angela McGonigle
My name is Angela McGonigle, I'm a carver and a traditional native crafts lady from the NWT. I've been a carver for 14 years. My Mom Elizabeth Madeline Mouse, from Fort Simpson, NWT, taught me some of her amazing talents of beading and sewing with moose hide. I enjoy carving with cedar, fallen trees or even wood from the burnt forest. Even though a forest fire took place and the tree has burnt, I will still find the ones who can still have a second life and turning them into something amazing. I enjoy making whatever I can, from Porcupine earrings, moccasins, native bracelets and necklaces, dream catchers, carvings and Totem Poles!
